Celebration Quami ekta or communal harmony at Indian embassy
In connection with the ‘Quami Ekta Week’ (National Integration Week), which is organised by the National Foundation for Communal Harmony, the Indian Embassy Berlin invites for this programme with the aim to promote communal harmony.
Quami Ekta Week is observed throughout India during November 19-25 to foster the spirit of patriotism, national integration and communal harmony.
On this occasion, the cultural department of the Indian Embassy Berlin organises a programme on Kabir, the famous saint of the 15th/16th century.
Kabir was a mystic Saint, who is accepted as the founder of Sant Mat whose teachings continues to inspire seekers to change themselves for the uplift of humanity. A Supreme Master of the Surat Shabd Yoga. He taught the spiritual path towards easy union with Satpursh Lord of Satlok. He preached that all are children of the Almighty and that mankind should live in peace, happiness and harmony without fighting each other over castes and religions. His message: Devotion, Love, Purity and Humility are the stepping stones for a life of spiritual awakening. When this has been achieved, the soul can ascend through the spiritual regions created by God.
